Located in Sagaponac, New York, Sagaponac House 43 was designed by Hariri and Hariri. House 43’s modernist elevation is both monumental and inviting. These shots show the Hariri design in its spec stage, before the first residents, Heide Banks and Howard Lazar, moved in.

Blinds in the master bedroom provide privacy from the street.

A translucent wall silhouettes a Duravit bathtub by Philippe Starck in the master bathroom.

Viewed from the street, the house’s kitchen/living area, raised on a platform with massive picture windows, resembles a stage. Banks and Lazar plan to enhance privacy by planting trees and shrubs.
